TRAVEL ITENERARY:

 

Saturday Afternoon: Leave San Diego at 12:50 p.m.

 

Saturday Evening: Layover in JFK. Land at 9:30 p.m. Boarda new flight to Santo Domingo at 11:59 p.m.

 

Sunday Morning: Land in Santo Domingo at 3:48 a.m. 3 hour bus ride to Barahona. After arrival we will attend church (if we can make it in time)beach afterwards.

 

Monday: Morning is Children's Conference. Afternoon is Pastors conference.

 

Tuesday through Thursday: Gal's Bible study and Guys either repair projects or sports with the kids.

 

Friday: Morning is open but if possible will put in Skin care clinic

Friday afternoon is the Falls with the sponsored kids.

 

Saturday Morning: Leave Casa about 9 a.m. Board flight from Santo Domingo at 1:45 p.m. Arrive in Atlanta for a layover at 5:11 p.m.

 

Saturday Evening: Board flight in Atlanta at 7:26 p.m. and arrive in San Diego at 8:54 p.m.

 

HOW IT ALL BEGAN:

 

The Gathering fell in love with COTN Children of the Nations) in the fall of 2012. We began sponsoring children, hosting food, hygiene, and school supply packing parties. In the summer of 2013 we took a group of 20 people to our adopted Batey of Algodon near the Haiti border.

 

This coming summer, of 2015, we again take a group to visit our friends and children in Alogodon. We invite you to follow our adventure as we serve as the hands and feet of Jesus...
